Supporting the client in every way possible has always been the priority here at 9 Indonesia. Fortunately, Esther Koh knows how to do just that by providing her team with the information required to support their clients.

What is your favourite part about your role in 9?

I am in charge of marketing 9 and supporting the sales team. I plan marketing activities that help meet the company’s objectives and provide the sales team with information and materials they need to better support our clients.

I get to work on both analytical and creative tasks, which is a good balance.

If you could promote someone at work besides yourself, who would it be and why?

The importance of communication and problem solving.

I usually do some reading, go for evening jogs, or spend time with friends and family.

What is the most valuable lesson you have learned while working at 9?

Intelligence. With intelligence, money can be made, and you can have the best of both worlds!

My mum! She has been with me all my life and I know that her intentions for me are always good.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?

The pro is that I get to clock in more hours for sleep as traveling time is eliminated. The con is that I miss my colleagues!

I love the people and the culture—the friendships forged and the fun working environment.
